Congratulations to Norton Youth Soccer's U15 girls team for winning the U16 girls division 2 state championship today !!!! This is only the second state championship won by a Norton Youth Soccer team. The U15 girls team won 2 games and tied 1 game in round robin play at the Massachusetts Tournament of Champions this weekend. This morning, they beat Lowell 3-1 in the semifinal and won it all this afternoon by beating Framingham 1-0. The team is coached by Tim Dermody and assisted by Michelle Byrnes and John Erickson. Playing for the team are Marissa Amato, Holly Beaucage, Brittany Byrnes, Catherine Conroy, Gillian Dermody, Lauren Erickson, Laura Johnson, Lauren MacGray, Olivia McCarthy, Allison McPherson, Amy Pereira, Kyla Prosper, Kat Saba, and Emily Weber.
